An information and awareness-raising meeting was organised by the Çorum Red Cross Branch for students of the Coaching Education Department at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Hitit University.
The event, held on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in our faculty's conference hall, was attended by our Faculty Vice-Deans Prof. Dr. Erkan Demirkan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Cerit, as well as our department faculty members and students.
The meeting provided detailed information about the humanitarian aid activities carried out by the Red Cross, volunteer work, disaster management processes, and the roles that young people can play in these processes. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the conditions for joining the Red Crescent volunteer system and its projects.
At the end of the event, the department faculty members emphasised the importance of such collaborations in contributing to the development of social responsibility awareness and thanked the Red Crescent officials.
